	The National Alliance of Black School Educators, a 5,000 plus member, non-profit organization, is the nation's largest network of African American educators. NABSE is dedicated to improving the educational accomplishments of African American youth through the development and deployment of instructional and motivational methods that increase levels of inspiration, attendance and overall achievement.
	The National Parent Teacher Association is the oldest and largest volunteer association in the United States working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. One of the main objectives of the PTA is to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community.
	The Journalism Education Association, Inc. is the only independent national scholastic journalism organization for teachers and advisers. Founded in 1924, JEA is a volunteer organization. Among JEA's 1,900 members are journalism teachers and publications advisers, media professionals, press associations, adviser organizations, libraries, yearbook companies, newspapers, radio stations and departments of journalism.
	The National Elementary Schools Press Association is an organization dedicated to helping elementary and middle schools start new and improve existing class and school newspapers. NESPA is committed to improving the writing skills of elementary and middle school students by encouraging real-life writing experiences in student published school newspapers.
	National Scholastic Press Association began helping students and teachers improve their publications in 1921. Today that goal remains #1. This association is dedicated to helping students become better reporters, writers, editors, photographers, designers, desktop publishers, and advertising and business staffers. NSPA helps yearbook and newspaper advisers as well.
