Features the activities in an out of school that directly affect students’ lives. Summer vacation, school trips, popular fashion styles—anything that is important to the students in your school. These pages often feature a large number of photos and plenty of room for caption writing.

Academics
Focuses on the classiest part of the school experience—classes. In this section, use photos of a variety of sizes to focus on the big picture and the details that make learning fun.
- Daily routine of students in pursuit of an education.
- Emphasis is on students rather than staff.
- Computers, lab experiences, writing assignments— add a new twist with your theme.
Activities (Organizations, Clubs)
Recognizes those participating in clubs and activities. Often include large group photos, but also may include fun candid photos. If you’ll be listing a large number of individuals along with a group photo, be sure to select a layout with a large caption space.
- Highlights the value of membership and is best shown with action photography.
- Showcases the yearly activities of a team, club or organization.
Sports
An important part of many yearbooks, sports pages often include group photos as well as action shots.
- Photos can be packaged with stories about the group.
- Don’t forget the people behind the scenes—trainers, fans, equipment handlers.
- Sports spreads require scoreboards, which can be found in a variety of layouts.

Advertising
Advertising can go beyond local businesses, many schools also offer recognition ads. They’re a great way to reward students’ achievements as well as raise funds. A number of advertising layouts are available as well as layouts that work great for recognition ads.
