Get Students Involved in the Yearbook

Students are more likely to buy a school yearbook that they helped create. Here are some ways to get input and content from students:

  • Survey the student body to see what they want in the yearbook. Follow up with a poll to narrow down the results.
  • Have students vote for their favorite yearbook cover design or theme. Or, hold a cover design contest and use the winning cover for your yearbook—you could also include an area for honorable mentions.
  • Encourage students and family to submit photos of themselves and their friends for the yearbook—Community Upload makes it easy!

Display Completed Yearbook Content

Get parents and students excited by giving them a preview of the school yearbook.

  • Post copies of your yearbook cover design with the sale dates.
  • Display images from throughout the yearbook.
  • Display a list of featured students in common areas so students know they’re in the yearbook. Make sure each student is listed at least once.
  • Use the Yearbook Preview app from Lifetouch to feature pages from your book.
